On offer is this lovely, rare example of an Imperial Glass Company birthday cake plate. This unique piece features a gorgeous silver overlaid design. The outer rim holds 72 birthday candles. After intensive research, we have not been able to find another example of this plate overlaid with silver. It's possible that it was a singular commission piece, or created by Imperial for a special event. The plate is in very nice vintage condition, as can be seen in the images. Approximately 13" in diameter.
