This is a vintage cast iron still bank designed to look like the U. S. Treasury building. These type banks were commonly produced in the mid-20th century. It features a coin slot on a red painted roof. The work bank is visible above the central arched entrance. The bank is made of cast iron panels held together by a screw in the back of the bank. They are called still banks because there is no mechanical movement involved. There is a little paint loss on this bank otherwise it is of sturdy construction.
